If you’re looking at this article I suppose you were either rejected by google adsense or you’re not happy with their cpm rates that is why you’re looking for alternatives for google adsense.
Alternatives for google adsense has been a huge topic now-a-days. Some advertising companies do not offer good cpm rates and others are not for small publishers that get traffic into hundreds.
Google adsense has been a leading advertising company for many years. And of course it is, because getting accepted into their partner program is so easy and does not require any traffic.
I mean you can get accepted without any traffic.
Atleast, that’s how this blog you’re looking at got accepted.
I had just 5 posts and one guide (4000+ words) with no traffic at all. I just requested an application as an experiment and guess what?
Well, I already told you.
Maybe, I was lucky or that’s the case for everyone. But I didn’t have to seek any alternatives for google adsense.
These are not the only 10 alternatives for google adsense, as there are hundreds of different ads networks.
Fun fact: I’m working on a guide where I’ll be putting all ads networks together so you feel no difficulty in choosing the best ad network for your website.
Today we’ll be talking about 10 alternatives for google adsense.
Note: CPM, CPA, CPC, these are different matrices that advertisers use to pay publishers which means:
- CPM: Cost per Mille — which means cost per thousand impressions.
- CPA: Cost per Action — this means encouraging visitors to take an action. An Action could be anything like subscribing to a newsletter, buying an e-book or a course, or leaving a review. Meaning, the visitor will have to take action for you to get paid.
- CPC: Cost per Click — the simplest kind of advertising method where you get paid for people clicking on the ad(s).
- CPL: Cost per Lead — You get paid when a lead form is completed.
- CPI: Cost per Install — this model is used by programs or developers where you get paid for every install you refer.
Starting our list, here is number one:
Media.net is the first one on the list of alternatives for google adsense.
This ad network is highly popular and is one of the best good alternatives for google adsense because just like google adsense is powered by google, media.net is the official ads network for Bing & Yahoo.
Media.net offers one of the best CPM rates in the market.
And they offer varieties of how you want to get paid. They offer CPM, CPA, and CPC.
They currently only accept websites that have premium content. And they only monetize traffic from the USA, UK, and Canada.
And, because this is a big advertising network and has varieties of ads, they always post advertisements related to your context which means if your blog is about smartphones, your visitors will see ads about smartphones.
Which is a good thing because that way there are higher chances for traffic to convert or take an action.
Another one of the best alternatives for google adsense. But mediavine is not for small publishers.
As you’ll have to work on your traffic a bit before you get to join this beautiful and high paying ad network.
Mediavine requires at least 50,000 sessions (60,000 pageviews approx.)
They use sessions instead of page views because they believe that’s a better metric to measure how a user interacts with your website.
Mediavine provides the best rates in the industry. As they have high traffic requirements, joining mediavine is not everyone’s cup of tea. Therefore, it makes it easier for them to provide the best rates in the market..
To join, along with 50k sessions you also need good standing with google adsense. Not only that, but they also prefer long-form quality content.
This one is an open platform for every kind of publisher. Even if you’re a beginner or a veteran, even if thousands of people visit your site everyday or nobody ever look at you, propeller ads is for everyone
Propeller Ads offer great advertising rates with several advertising options. Along with that, they do not care even if you have a sub-domain in your name.
Personally I did not get any success with a sub-domain, but I have seen a couple of other bloggers using .blogspot or .wordpress and still getting accepted.
Propeller Ads offer different kind of ads format:
- Push Notifications
- Native ads
Propeller Ads sometimes show irrelevant ads (nudity) because I had such experience with them. But, it could be because I’m a small publisher. And that might not be a case with massive bloggers that earn thousands of dollars.
You can also use this advertising network with google adsense. To double your source of income.
Another advantage you can have is their affiliate program. You can refer a friend and earn 5% of their lifetime commission. How cool is that?
Propellerads also has a WordPress plugin which makes it easier to place ads and track revenue.
Infolinks is another one of the great alternatives for google adsense. However, Harsh Agarwal from shoutmeloud declared that this network is not as good as it used to be.
Infolinks currently powers more than 350,000 websites worldwide. Their pay rates are not as impressive as compared to other alternatives for google adsense.
Minimum threshold is $50 and you can withdraw your money either from Paypal or wire transfer.
They have an affiliate program too, where you can earn 10% of your referral user’s income in 12 months.
Harsh also said you must have high traffic from countries like the USA, UK, and Canada to earn good commissions.
You would have seen their ads on websites like Forbes, ESPN, and New York Times.
Taboola requires publishers to have a minimum of 500,000 monthly traffic before applying.
Their ads look a bit spammy as you have seen in the end of the websites there are stories around the world. And articles like:
- Studying in germany might be easier than you think
- These people didn’t got what they ordered online
- Real estate prices in USA will surprise you
And other such kinds of clickbaits.
And if you’re ok with clickbaits on your website then taboola is the best option. Because, their CTR rate is high and so is their CPC or CPM.
Taboola only offers payoneer as payment method.
Next one on the list is Adsterra. People are earning thousands of dollars with them because they offer one of the best cpm rates as compared to other alternatives for google adsense.
Adsterra also offers varieties of ad formats like:
- Popunder ads
- Push Notifications
- Native ads
- Banner ads
- Video pre-rolls
However, blognife suggests not to use this network with google adsense as there are some concerns raised by google over publishers that use Adsterra ads.
This is difficult to explain, but some ad networks are suitable for adsense while others can get your account banned in a wink.
You can use this ad network only if you have at least 5000 visitors every month. And for banner display ads your site must have 50,000 impressions per month.
This one’s a bit different and not like other alternatives for google adsense. Because, rather than CPM or CPC, this network only pays you for CPA.
Remember what I said earlier, make people perform an action and get paid for it.
Revenue hits does not require publishers to have any kind of minimum traffic and a sub-domain can also be monetized.
But earning from it is not that easy. If you have high converting traffic from countries like the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand you can earn a lot more than what you expect.
You can have a look at Iftikhar from Iftiseo who earned $14910 in just 2 months.
Yes, it sounds unreal but you can check his income proof (with screenshots) here.
MonetizeMore has been blowing now-a-days. This advertising company is paying a lot more than their competition.
Also this advertising company was featured on Monetize Pro as the best advertising network of the month.
You can’t monetize your new website with them because they want publishers to have at least 500,000 monthly traffic. After all that massive traffic, you’ll have to submit your blog or website for manual approval.
Where humans will look and approve your website.
Because not everyone is able to work with them, they provide the best value to those who are able.
They offer different advertising types like:
And yes, you can use all of them on your page to maximize revenue.
With blue colored eye-pleasing interface bidvertiser is 9th on the list of alternatives of google adsense.
The revenue is a mixture of CPM, CPA, and CPC. Bidvertiser pay high commissions to their publishers.
They also offer other ads formats such as:
- Display ads
- Pop under ads
- Slider ads
- XML feeds
Bidvertiser offers several payment methods like Paypal, bitcoin, wire transfer, and check.
Minimum threshold is one of the lowest, only $10.
You can also monetize your sub-domains with this advertising network.
Approval process is extremely easy as you just submit your application and (mostly) get accepted by their automatic process.
Last one is Adcash. Another one of the high paying alternatives for google adsense.
Adcash’s minimum threshold is $25. They offer great varieties of ads formats such as CPM, CPC, CPA, CPI, and CPL.
They also provides with great varieties of payment methods such as:
- Wire transfer
They support multiple languages and niches also do not require any minimum traffic. This platform is open to every kind of publisher.
Adcash also supports many ads format such as:
- Pop under ads
- Push notifications
- Banner ads
